Q. Why is your grass superior to others?

A. Our turf fibres have been manufactured to resemble real grass. The fibres have been curled and spring set to help prevent "matting" over time. We also have a secondary fibre to bind the infill onto the base of the grass to prevent washout in heavy rain. The combination of these fibres, our stitch rate averaging 17+ blades per 10cm, and a row gauge of 9mm gives us the heaviest, densest face weight of fibre (2.9kg per square metre). The fibre component consists of UV protected polyethylene, an extremely soft property. There has been extensive research and development to get these advanced fibres to the point where they are they are today.

Q. How long will it last?

A. Smartgrass turf carries a Manufacturers Limited Warrant of 5 years against excessive fading, wear and sun damage. However we estimate up to 4 to 5 times that period of time in most environments.

Q. What about pets?

A.Just treat the product like normal grass, urine will not discolour and simply seeps through the stitch holes and remove solids as is your normal practice.

Q. Does it require maintenance?

A. An occasional rake (plastic) or a blower to respread any build up of sand/rubber.

We do recommend a Professional "Spring Grooming" every year, where we run our Groomers over the area and add any sand or rubber as required.

Q. How long does Installation take, and what access do you need?

A. Most domestic installation of 45 metres o  less are completed in a day. Our aim is to minimise disturbance as such we prefer not to use "digging machines" and most jobs are hand dug requiring wheelbarrow access only.

Q. How much to Install?

A. It varies depending on which grass, how difficult and the size. As a guide to have our products fully installed costs between $90 to $120 per square metre.
