On a weekly or monthly basis an occasional plastic raking is all that’s required.
During the spring and summer we recommend an Annual Grooming.
Over the year there is a buildup of foreign debris at the base of the grass.
This debris can cut and damage the grass, pulling down on the blades leaving a flatter look.
Over the wetter months there is a loss of sand/rubber, leaving an uneven spread and creates mounds.
After Grooming, your grass will stand taller, look fuller, healthier and lusher.
Most importantly, its life will be extended.
The process for Grooming is
- Power broom to remove spread and breakup foreign debris
- Power broom against grain to make grass stand tall
- Add and spread up to 4mm of sand and/or rubber infill
- Final sweep of power broom to spread and stand upright
